Frequently asked questions
What is the IKZE limit in 2026?
11,304 zł, and 16,956 zł for the self-employed. The family minister announces the limit in Monitor Polski.
How much tax does IKZE give back?
The payment reduces your taxable income, so the refund is the payment times your rate. Paying in the whole 11,304 zł limit gives 1,356 zł at a rate of 12%, 3,617 zł at 32% and 2,148 zł at the flat rate of 19%.
Can I pay more than the limit into IKE and IKZE?
No. In 2026 the limit is 28,260 zł for IKE and 11,304 zł for IKZE, and the institution returns any overpayment. The limits are separate, so you can have both accounts and pay in 39,564 zł together. The calculator sends the excess to a regular account.
By when do I pay into IKZE to deduct it this year?
The payment must reach IKZE by 31 December 2026. You deduct it in this year's tax return, filed next spring.
What tax do I pay on an IKZE payout?
10% of the whole payout if you withdraw once you are 65 years old, with payments in at least 5 calendar years. No Belka tax on the gain then. Earlier it is a withdrawal (zwrot): the whole amount is income taxed on the scale.
What is the IKE limit in 2026?
28,260 zł. IKE gives no PIT relief, but the gain is tax-free if you withdraw once you are 60 years old, with payments in at least 5 calendar years.
